About Beth

Beth Tutt, MA, LPAT, ATR-BC

I’m a Licensed Professional Art Therapist and Board-Certified Art Therapist with 15 years of clinical experience working with adults, children, teens, and families.

My approach is relational and depth-oriented. I’m interested not only in what is happening, but in how you experience it, the patterns and relationships around it, and what may be difficult to understand or put into words.

Sometimes people come to therapy knowing precisely what they want help with. Other times, they know that something feels stuck, painful, confusing, or different and want a place to understand it more fully. Our sessions may be entirely conversational, include art-making, or move between the two.

Experience that shapes my work

Before moving into full-time private practice, I spent nearly a decade working as an art therapist in a pediatric hospital with children, teens, young adults, and families affected by serious illness and medical treatment.

I have also worked in community settings with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These experiences continue to inform my work, particularly when someone’s experience is complicated, difficult to put into words, or requires flexibility in how therapy happens.
