Fees & FAQ
Fees
Individual therapy sessions are 45 minutes and the fee is $225 per session.
Aligned Art Therapy is an out-of-network practice and does not bill insurance directly.
I can provide documentation for clients who wish to seek reimbursement through their insurance plan. Reimbursement varies by plan and may also depend on whether your plan recognizes my professional license or credentials for out-of-network benefits. I recommend contacting your insurance company directly to understand your coverage before beginning therapy.
Reduced-fee spaces
I keep a small number of reduced-fee spaces in my practice. Availability is limited and depends on my current caseload.
If cost would otherwise prevent you from working with me, you are welcome to ask whether a reduced-fee space is currently available.

What happens during a consultation?
The initial consultation is a brief conversation where you can tell me a little about what is bringing you to therapy and what you're looking for.
You can also ask questions about how I work, scheduling, fees, or anything else that would help you decide whether you would like to schedule an initial session.
The consultation is also an opportunity for me to consider whether my practice and experience seem appropriate for what you're looking for.
What happens if we decide to work together?
We'll find an available appointment time and I'll send you the information and paperwork you need before your first session.
You don't need to arrive at the first session with everything figured out. We'll begin with what brings you in and get to know more about what you're experiencing over time.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments, are charged the full session fee.
